Welcome to it's me ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our application and related services operated by it's me.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

3. Description of Service

it's me is an application that helps you organize your thinking through AI dialogue and save your perspectives as chapters to build on over time. The Service provides:

  • Values Assessment: A feature that visualizes your personal values through 48 questions
  • me book: A feature that organizes your thinking through AI dialogue and saves your perspective at each point as a chapter
  • Action Management: A feature to manage actions generated from chapters on the home screen
  • Multi-language support (English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean)

4. me book Feature

4.1 Use of External AI Services

The me book feature uses an external AI service provided by Google (Gemini). Your conversation content is sent to these services and used to generate AI responses and chapter summaries.

On first use, you will be asked to consent to data transmission to an external AI service. If you do not consent, you will not be able to use the me book feature.

4.2 Disclaimer Regarding AI Responses

Please note the following regarding AI responses in the me book feature:

  • AI responses are intended to support thinking organization and do not constitute professional advice (from doctors, lawyers, counselors, etc.)
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI responses
  • AI does not make conclusions on your behalf; it supports the organization of your thinking
  • We do not recommend using AI responses as the sole basis for important decisions

4.3 Emergency Notice

Important: If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, abuse, or other emergency crisis situations, please contact a professional helpline or medical institution rather than using this Service. This Service cannot respond to emergencies.

5. Service Usage Conditions

The Values Assessment is available for free, even anonymously.

Account registration is required to use the me book feature. The first chapter is free to try. Continued use requires a monthly subscription.

6. Subscription

6.1 Pricing and Billing

The subscription required for continued use of me book is billed monthly through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The price follows the amount displayed on the in-app purchase screen.

6.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel.

6.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from the App Store or Google Play settings. After cancellation, you can continue to use the service until the end of the current billing period.

6.4 Refunds

Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective platform (App Store or Google Play). We cannot process refunds directly.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited when using this Service:

  • Acts that violate laws and regulations
  • Acts that infringe upon the rights of our company or third parties
  • Acts that interfere with the normal operation of this Service
  • Acts of inputting false information
  • Misusing the me book feature to attempt to generate illegal or harmful content
  • Providing AI responses as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.) to third parties

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to this Service belong to our company. You may use this Service only for personal purposes, and commercial reproduction, distribution, modification, etc. are prohibited.

This Service is provided as is, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or usefulness of this Service. We cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from the use of this Service.

The results of the Values Assessment and AI responses and chapter content in the me book feature are provided as reference information, and we do not recommend using them as the sole basis for important life decisions.

11. Service Changes and Suspension

We may change or suspend the content of this Service without prior notice. We cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from such changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
